Work History: In 1965-1968, MÉGANTIC CONSTRUCTION - Work on the quarry and exploitation (MM 84-03, pages 9-10). In 1968 BAU-VAL INC. - Operations. In 1974-1980, THE SOC. CAREER LANDREVILLE INC. - Acquisition of quarry and manages interests. In 1980, a part of the quarry was devoted to the burial of industrial waste.

Resource access: This quarry is located east of the city of Boucherville near the intersection of Avenue Montérun and rank of Anjou. The main entrance to the quarry is located at 952 rank of Anjou on the property of Paul Landreville. Another entrance leads into the Montérun Avenue.
Description work put into infrastructure value: Glass of 5.70 m was measured on the northwest side of the quarry.
Geological description: The sequence consists of very friable shale, dark gray, interbedded with thin silty layers, dark gray medium. Sporadically include some clay beds as well developed benches, always less than 10 cm thick. The shales are part of the Lorraine Group (Utica Shale). It was noted the presence of one or two dykes intrusive rocks (nepheline syenite Suite Monteregian). Strata are subhorizontal.
Comment - Other information: Part of the quarry is now devoted to the burial of industrial waste. A thickness of 1 to 2 m of gravel covering the shale; this material is also sold at filling purposes.
