The Inkerman Gold Mine is about 3 kilometres north of the former Kunanalling townsite, and west of the Coolgardie North Road. It is on the same north-east trend from the Catherwood and Premier mines. A line of shafts following this trend remains, some minor building foundations, and remnant battery sands.
A company is said to have originally developed the lease under the name of Ruby May. They sank a shaft to 140 feet, then drove 200 hundred feet but failed to stope out any ore.
Three working miners called S. Hunting, Chadwick and Bewick then worked the mine with regular crushings from 1906 until the lease was forfeited in August 1910. GML 757S. The mine during this time was known as Inkerman.
The mine produced 979 tonnes of ore for an excellent 1614 ounces of gold.
The Kunanalling Gold NL took over the lease in 1935, (as the Ruby May), and did some development work until 1937, but little else.
