A small gravel pit located 4.5 km (2.8 miles) NNE of Green Lake (city), off of McConnell Road. The quarry works the Prairie du Chien Group, which consists of Ordovician dolostone and minor sandstone. Certain zones are quite vuggy and can yield an interesting assemblage of minerals.
