Corsavy (French pronunciation: [kɔʁsavi]; Catalan: Cortsaví) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. It is part of the historical Vallespir comarca.
Famous village and area situated in Vallespir valley on the southeast slope of the Massif du Canigou, well known from the Batère iron mines high upon the village which definitively closed in the late 20th century.
Also famous in the village district are the Gorges de la Fou (la Fou Canyon) which have the reputation of being the narrowest in the world.
High on the north side of this canyon (Corsavy area) was an old mining area (Zn) which is opposite of the Can Pey mining site (Zn-Pb) (south side of the canyon, Montferrer area).
Mineralization is also indicated at Leca hamlet, northwest of Corsavy.
