Old Au-bearing arsenopyrite deposit. Gold mining activities date back to the 13th century and peaked in the 16th century. More than 100 of mines, shafts and adits are known.
In the 20th century the deposit was mined for arsenic. Mining stopped in 1961.

Skarn-like mineralization due to metasomatism in the exocontact zone of the Variscan Klodzko-Zloty Stok granodiorite massif.

Barren rocks present - beside serpentinites and amphibolites - within the deposit include: oligoclase-biotite schists, blastomylonites, aplites, gneisses (e.g., leptitic gneisses), magnesium skarns, dolomites, skarn-like rocks, lamprophyres (spessartites), and microtonalites.

Located 19 km south of Ząbkowice Śląskie.

Note on the mineral list:
Mikulski (1996) also mentions Ni-Fe-Co sulpharsenides.
