This hamlet, included in the municipalit territory of Ceres, is located at the mouth of Ala Valley.

Paragonite-rich calcschists, from which the polytypes phengite-2M1, muscovite-2M1 and paragonite-2M1 have been described in the area above the hamlet (Chiesa et al., 1972).
