Part of the Red Wine-Letitia alkaline province in Central Labrador (Currie 1976) consists of two major complexes: the Seal Lake-Letitia Lake complex on the north and and the Red Wine complex on the south. The Red Wine complex consists of two separate but genetically identical plutons approximatelly 12 km apart designated as Noth Red Wine and South Red wine by Curtis & Currie (1977).
