"In 1956, W. A. Patterson held 18 claims and 2 patented lots in Herschel
and McClure townships, Hastings county.
The showings are on a wooded hill in lots 17 and 18, concession XVI,
Herschel township, just west of Little McGarry Lake, about 2,000 feet north of
the road, and 5 miles west of Maynooth."(ARV65)
