Located 13 kilometres east south-east of the Byro homestead.
Green opal up to gem quality in small quantities with jasperoidal chalcedony within silica caprock overlying ultramafic rocks containing iron rich chromite layers.
The Iniagi location in based on Fetherston and satellite images, which appears as lines of exploration work, south-east of the Mullewa-Gascoyne Junction Road, and Beringarra-Byro Road intersections. The Imagi Well Mine is named in a 1984 review of chromite resources, a recent exploration company, and present maps. The opal location is suggested as the same location but needs on the ground confirmation. The site seen on satellite images one kilometre to the south-east is the Imagi/Iniagi Well (bore) itself.
It occurs as discontinuous iron rich chomite lenses within a steeply dipping quartz amphibolite. Exploration in the past by E.Z. Co (Aust) Ltd stated the resource was too small to warrant further exploring.
