CBL mine, Araçuaí
An underground mine in a spodumene pegmatite, presently (2024) operated by CBL (Companhia Brasileira do Lítio).
The spodumene crystals reach lengths up to 1.5 m at diameters of 30 cm, and form about 80% of the rock.
The mine entry is located in Itinga municipality, although the ore processing industry is located in Araçuaí.
