Köppen climate type:Cfa : Humid subtropical climate

Started in 1954, this mine was initially worked for pyrite. Since 1976, it raised gold and silver from the Zhilingtou deposit. When production started to decline in the middle of the 1990s, an exploration campaign was launched in the area. In 1997, lead-zinc deposits were discovered in the northern part of the property and subsequently developed. When the Zhilingtou deposit was mined out, production was entirely switched to lead-zinc ores. A new processing plant went into operation in 2008.
