Las Mojarras is a village and municipality in Catamarca Province in northwestern Argentina.
Location of Las Mojarras district: Occasional outcrops of pegmatites in the Eastern faldeo of the Sierra of Quilmes or drawer, next to the national route No. 40, at the head of the city of Santa Maria. Access from the city (d) Santa Maria is across the bridge over the river of the same name and then it should be two miles north on route No. 40. Elevation: 1894 m. above sea level.
The mineralization consists of quartz, Muscovite, orthoclase, magnetite, alluvial Garnet, tourmaline.
