An abandoned tin field, mostly working alluvial deposits in and around the river, plus some small hard-rock deposits, eg. Stanley Reward. Presently under exploration as part of the Mt Lindsay Project, targeting tin-tungsten-magnetite skarns adjacent to the Meredith granite.
