A Fe-Cu-Ni sulphide deposit located 1,5 km east of Mesel (Messel). (Berickwood 1986).
"The Seljeåsen deposit is located at the eastern margin of the Seljeåsen troctolite massif. The bulk of the Fe-Cu-Ni mineralization is contained within a pyroxenite band and towards contacts with large xenoliths of gneiss. The mineralized zone consists of disseminated to network and partly massive ore in a c. 1m thick zone of pyrrhotite with subordinate chalcopyrite and cobalt-bearing pentlandite."
See map in Brickwood (1986).
