Sedimentary manganese deposit of Cretaceous age.
Located in the Atlas mountains, about 160 km southeast of Marrakech.

NOTE: The "pyrolusites" from Imini are in fact manganites partially replaced by pyrolusite (analyzed), so the best description of them would be: Pyrolusite replacing manganite.
