Small quarry some 100 meters long worked on a single level.
The following description was drawn from the Deposit File of the MRNF (Ministère des ressources naturelles et de la faune):
Essentially, a quartz-sericite-chlorite schist belonging to the West Sutton Formation or to the Sutton Metamorphic Suite, often containg small magnetite octahedrons.
Thin and discontinued quartz veinlets constituting 10% of the rock, and two subvertical mafic dykes, are present.
Pyrite cubes have been found in the greyish schist in the South part of the quarry
Sharp, well-formed magnetite octahedrons have been found in the greenish schist of the North part, and in many large blocks along the access road.
