This locality is for specimens for which more detailed information is not available. There are numerous quartz crystal occurrences in this general area. Lyndhurst is the closest large town and Black Rapids is the closest village to the quartz collecting area. Do not confuse the Village of Black Rapids with the Black Rapids Mine. Also quartz crystals from this area have simply been called Lyndhurst quartz.
