Abandoned quarry in Spitz marble ('Spitzer Marmor'), a variety rich in silicates. Scapolite crystal up to 3 cm have been reported from here (Frasl et al., 1965).
Located near the Danube and adjacent to the rail tracks.
Note on the mineral list: The "biotite" reported by Frasl et al. (1965) as a component of the marble is probably phlogopite.
