Arbola Glacier, located below the northern and eastern faces of Punta d'Arbola/Ofenhorn (3235 m), is the informal name (*) given to the southernmost branch of the Ghiacciaio del Sabbione/Hohsandgletscher eastern segment [see http://www.mindat.org/loc-190561.html]. Its right orographic side is edged by the ridge including Torri del Vannino, Passo del Vannino, and Punta Lebendun.


(*) Formally Ghiacciaio dell'Arbola is the name of the small glacier located on the southern slope of Punta d'Arbola/Ofenhorn (Devero Alp, Baceno), in the cirque just below the summit, above the area to the east of Eggerscharte which was named Wälschen Ofen by the old Swiss "strahlers".
