Corundum megacryst-bearing rocks associated with the high-pressure migmatites of anorthositic to gabbroanorthositic compositions belonging to the Skattøra Migmatite Complex within the Nakkedal Nappe in the North-Norwegian Caledonides.
Crystals of up to 4 x 2 cm large, pinkish corundum crystals are observed.
Private conversation with K. Kullerud gives locality for corundum to be close to the top of the skislope.
