Greisen-type rubidium-polymetallic deposit, consisting of three altered lithosome ore bodies hosted in greisenized porphyritic biotite-monzonite granite. The main ore mineral is zinnwaldite, which is enriched in rubidium, lithium and caesium.
All the quartz-zinnwaldite-topaz rocks (QZTR) are of ore-grade, and are exposed near the No. 0 exploration line, with length and thickness of ∼ 300 m and 20–60 m, respectively. The Li-Rb-Cs metals were concentrated in zinnwaldite. The Zhengchong deposit contains an estimated reserve of 110, 000 t Rb2O @ 0.225 wt%, 6, 000 t Cs2O @ 0.0126 wt%, and 270, 000 t Li2O @ 0.557 wt%.
