Sediment-hosted copper deposit in Vendian-Cambrian amphibolite, quartzite, and calcareous sedimentary rocks. The mineralized zone is 2,000 m long and up to 300 m thick.

Note: The GPS coordinates currently used on Mindat (Orris & Bliss, 2002) place the locality in Logar Province.
