A composite intrusion consisting of early alkaline rocks, mainly aegirine syenite, and late alkaline granite. The intrusion has the shape of an irregular lens, which extends 15 km form north to south in a SSE direction and is 1.5-4 km wide from east to west.

Located on the west bank of the Anning river, west of Xichang.

There is a giant Fe-Ti-V-magnetite deposit located within the middle zone of the gabbro intrusion.
