A nineteenth century iron mine located Northwest of the Silvermine parking area. The mine, referred to on some maps as the Dunn Mine, was "discovered" in 1982 by a hiker named Dunn. It is really the Lewis Mine, Lewis being the family name and owner of the property when the mine was probably worked.
The mine features an open cut and a flooded cut/adit.
