The “colline de La Causse” is formed by an old strombolian cone very eroded, not easily identifiable in the landscape.
At the East, the “ruisseau de France” drains a depression filled of colluviums coming from the “colline de La Causse” and delivers concentrates with zircon and sapphire.
In fact, the site is located on the city of Saint-Christophe-d’Allier (France brook alluvials), Haute-Loire near Chambon-le-Château, Lozère.
