"HIGHWAYS DEPARTMENT QUARRY was an open cut on a blue dolomite bed, 30-45 m wide, overlain by sandstone. It was used for road base material. On imagery, scarring is visible, but the workings appear to have been infilled and rehabilitated (2008).
Commodities: Quartzite - road base, Sandstone - road base, Dolomite - road seal aggregate"

The only difference between this and the 'West' quarry is the concentration of commodities.
