A former Cr mine located in sec. 25, T22N, R7W, MDM, 1.6 km (5,200 feet) ESE of Red Mountain (coordinates of record), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
NOTE: The MRDS database file provides grographic coordinates of 39°44'16"N, 122°42'11"W. These coordinates place the mine substantially W of Red Mountain (8.0 km (5.0 miles)). The topo map shows this mine at the coordinates provided, both by mine symbol and specific mine name, in proximity of the Black Diamond Mine.
