A small lead mine, working the southern parts of three NS-trending lodes that cross the Gannel valley south of Legonna farm. The mine was active around 1846 and may have been associated with Wheal Rose Consols (see separate entry), which lay a little further north. According to Hamilton Jenkin, the Wheal Dyke workings were mainly on the southern side of the river. The grid reference marks one of its dumps.
