Röttis is a district ("Stadtteil") of Plauen (northern urban area), which was incorporated in 1999. Together with Jößnitz and Steinsdorf, Röttis forms a village.
Röttis is located in the northeast of Plauen and borders on two other districts of Plauen and three districts of a municipality in the Vogtland district. In the east, the Weiße Elster forms the border to the neighboring municipality.
