A group of 21 (+/-) mining claims, opal prospects, and producing opal mines, located by Charles Eddy et al., in Sections 5 & 8 of Township 45N Range 26E;
Collectively known as the Eddy Group, the individual claims are: West Gem Hill; Bluebird; Richard; Patrick; Crazy Indian; Lil Abner; Daisey Mae; No2 Opal; Hidden Valley; Lulu; Sparkle Plenty; Windfall; Marvelous; Lorrie Lee; East Gem Hill; Nancy's Nightmare; Sun Valley; Evening Star; Opal Valley; New Moon; & The Mayday (actually in Sec. 22).
One claim was located in 1948 with the others from 1969-1974; Many have changed ownership and have been restaked as new claims.
