Road side exposures along a steep hill close to the east end of Greyhorse Road, just before the sharp northward bend to the intersection with Overlook Avenue.

Exposures were open in the 1970's, but are now covered by housing. Predominantly Wissahickon mica schists, blue quartz schist, and likely a pegmatite, due to the presence of meter-sized blocks of milky quartz. The pegmatite may be responsible for the hill, being more erosion resistant than the surrounding rock.

Also noted, but not confirmed, were fine grained mica (muscovite?) and a weakly magnetic black opaque sub-metallic mineral, possibly ilmenite or columbite-(Fe), associated with the pegmatite quartz. There was also extensive green fluorescent, SW, coatings on the quartz - likely hyalite opal.
