"(Coming from Alban). East of Albi on the D99 until Alban. Take the D53 to the left. At Villeneuve, cross the bridge over the Tarn river and turn left at the fork in the road. There is a mine with baryte, chalcopyrite, fluorite, pyrite, and quartz on the right side of the road before reaching the locality." [Belot, 1978]
An active fluorite mine. Located near Gaycre, about 7 km N of Alban.
