An old silver, copper and tin mine, first documented when it was worked for a short period of time around 1717. In 1778, it was restarted and worked intermittently until 1850. The adit has been driven 665 m eastwards from the Zschopau valley into the western slope of Schreckenberg hill to open up the silver-bearing Hempels Hoffnung Morgengang vein.
