Location: Location plotted is locality 17 of Barker and Clautice (1978, p. 14) on north side Porcupine River, about 3 mi (4.8 km) north of Burnt Paw; located to within i mi (1.6 km)
Geology: Lower Paleozoic carbonaceous limy shales contain carbon lenses, 70 ppm molybdenum and greater than 1% barium and manganese (Barker and Clautice, 1978, p. 19, no. 17).
