This mine formerly called "Solitaria", is in the Quebrada de Cumichango, located about 35 km north of Jagüe city and 280 km to the NW of Chilecito city in General Sarmiento Department.
The area of this mining property consists of (amphibole, quartzites, mica, etc...), crystalline schists of directions and belonging to the Precambrian variable inclinations; pegmatites and Lamprofirs ore can be seen in them.
The site consists of a vein of directorate general NE-SW with dip of 45 ° W, which has a known length of several tens of meters and a power of little decimetres. Within the calcite of the grain mass there are lenticular bodies rich in Nickeline - metalic main ore-, which is closely associated the Pitchblende by way of thin black-gray films, as well as small proportions of Sphalerite, Pyrite, Chloantite, Galena and Chalcopyrite.
The structure of the grain in the areas of the Nickeline is breccia.
The deposit is epithermal and has no apparent link with visible eruptive rocks of the area.
The law of selected minerals is 15-20% of Ni with 1.0-1.2% U3O8.
