Locality type:


Hachita (and old hachita), towns in adjacent Grant Co., appear to be given as locality name on labels of specimen coming from this district. The name sylvanite was for the ore mineral, but it was actually tetradymite. The first ore was found in the Wake Up Charlie claim in 1908.
