The eastern section of the Great North Downs Mine, which is now completely built over by Scorrier village and the A30. In 1938, when the mines were prospected for tungsten, Footway Shaft was re-opened. Some wolframite was encountered in lodes to the north of the shaft, but no production resulted from the explorations.
The engine house is transformed into a real house.
