Locality type:
Köppen climate type:

Vein and skarn type tungsten deposit hosted by psammitic metasediments of the Hodgkinson province. About 100km NW of Cairns. Scheelite is mostly hosted by quartz veins, with minor sulphides.

Located near the Mount Windsor Forest Reserve.

The watershed deposit localities include Watershed Open Pit, Watershed Deeps, Watershed South, Desailly and Desailly North.

Note: Desailly was previously shown under Tablelands Region when Mareeba Shire was amalgamated with three other shires (Atherton, Eacham and Herberton) to form the Tablelands Region in 2008.

Mareeba Shire de-amalgamated from the Tablelands Region with effect from 1 January 2014. Accordingly Desailly should now be shown as being in Mareeba Shire.
