Ruina Cotschna (literally "red rust") is a side peak, north of Piz Mundin, on the southern side of the Samnaun Valley, on the territory of the Tschlin (German: Schleins) community.
Five adits are the testimony of an old (19th century) Fe-Cu mining activity. The nice axinite-(Fe) specimens (with epidote and actinolite) originate from the green schist host rock.
Notes:
- Coordinates are from https://map.geo.admin.ch/
- There is another Ruina Cotschna further south (S of Piz Ajüz).
