657 meter elevation volcano which in 1980 produced an unusual fissure eruption from a fissure several hundred metres long, on the outer flanks, not from the crater. Several solfataras remain active, both inside and outside the crater rim, with extensive alteration zones in rocks around dead fumaroles. The crater itself produced a pyroclastic flow on 4 August 2014.
