Topasfundstelle, Val Renastga, Val Lugnez (Val Lumnezia), Graubünden (Grisons; Grischun), Schweiz (Suisse; Svizzera)
Quartz clefts (two types, only the second type carries topaz) in a strongly tectonically overprinted and metamorphosed Triassic dolomite layer.
In 1983 H. Luginbühl located topaz in quartz-bearing fissures. In 1987 during a severe storm the location was partly buried by a rock slide. In 2018 more topaz was found by Meyer & Casutt (2020) in at least two other unspecified outcrops in the "Riein area", thus probably also in the Renastga Valley.
Note: Described as being in "Lugnez" (= Lumnezia), but actually in Ilanz/Glion.
