Flat Top Mesa is about 3 miles west of Temple Mountain. Johnson in USGS Bulletin 1046-D writes that "Significant uranium deposits have been discovered by drilling within this favorable ground [in the Moss Back member] on the northern half of Flat Top Mesa."
Note that the USGS editor writes in MRDS #10108721 that latitude-longitude values were calculated from the township, range, section, and PLSS estimated from plate 2 of Bulletin 1046-D.
