Mount Adamson (73°55′S 163°0′E) is a peak, 3,400 m (11,155 ft) high, rising 10 km (6 mi) east-northeast of Mount Hewson. Named by the northern party of New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE), 1965–66, for R. Adamson, a geologist with this party. [Wikipedia]
