A barite mine near the Red Marble Quarry. The ore occurred as veins of barite in argillite and quartzite, with the more important veins being from 3'-8' wide and a copper mineralized zone near the footwall of one of the veins. Development consisted of one main pit and several smaller cuts. Around 100 tons of ore was produced in 1960 with more stockpiled.
