An outcrop and shallow drill core on the northeast side of U.S. Route 22, 1500 feet WNW of highway intersection of road to Mapleton and US 22.
As shown in Plate 5, a detailed map of the occurrence, the mineralization occurs in tectonically brecciated Tuscarora Formation quartzite near Faill's Fault.
Assays of the drill core reported by Smith (1977) include 0-2' of 2.00 % Zn and 0.85 % Pb, 2-8' of 3.15 % Zn and 10.1 % Pb, and 8-1.1' of 3.15 % Zn and 1.29 % Pb.
