Structure: Ne Trending, Se Dipping Faults
Deposit: The main ore body is 14 ft thick but thinned to 6 ft at pit level. Bindheimite occurs As earthy to pitchy pods that fill the entire east-trending vein, leaner veins contain amounts of milky quartz with the bindheimite. The ore bearing veins cut across granodiorite and hornfels. Vein is gossany with extensive iron-stained alteration extending into the adjacent meta-siltstone. The vein shape- is pod-like with radiating veinlets of quartz into gouge that- extend along adjacent fractures.; model name could also be: polymetallic veins. In 1865 a smelter was built for treat the ore from the mine, the montezuma mine is developed on the east-trending vein by a pit 90 ft. Long, 20 ft. Wide , and 20 feet deep with incline shaft sunk to 120 ft. Deep. The main ore body in the pit was 14 ft.
