A former municipal quarry located in the SW¼ sec. 14, T2S, R5W, SBM, E of LAke Evans, NNE of Mount Rubidoux, N of Houghton Avenue and E of Redwood Drive, N of the city downtown center. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
