Jade locality 120 kilometers northwest of Mogaung.

Transformation zone environment of an ophiolitic complex.

Amphibolites and chloritites at the contact between albitite (plagiogranite) vein (with chromite xenocrystals) and a serpentinite host-rock.

The albitite transformed into jadeitite.

Amphibolites formed by metasomatic reaction during HP/LT metamorphism (hydrous low-T eclogite facies or blueschist facies) (subduction).

Host rocks are magnetite chlorite schists, glaucophane schists, and actinolitic schists.
