This mine is located about 500 ft above Franklin D. Roosevelt Lake.

The geology is mineralization in two parallel zones in brecciated Permian limestone that is interbedded with wacke.

It produced ore prior to 1890, in 1922-1923, 1938, 1941, and 1947-1954.
