Occurrence of so-called Dushan Jade, which is a mixture of mainly zoisite and anorthite with minor hornblende and subordinate amounts of chrome-bearing minerals such as chromian epidote, chromian micas and volkonskoite, to which it owes its colour. The "jade" occurs as veins in a body of tremolitized gabbro.

A classic Chinese jade occurrence.
Located about 8 km north of Nanyang city.
